ARC funding success for SLRC researchers across multiple Discovery Projects in 2018

Congratulations to SLRC Chief Investigators who have been awarded funding for multiple Discovery Projects announced by the Australian Research Council on Friday 10th November 2017 for funding commencing 2018. Eight of our researchers have been awarded funding for seven different Projects – a great achievement.

Deakin University’s Professor Russell Tytler has been awarded funding for one successful Project while The University of Melbourne’s Professor John Hattie and The University of Queensland’s Professor Annemaree Carroll are involved in a successfully funded Project administered by University of Western Australia. The University of Queensland’s Professor Pankaj Sah and Associate Professor Tim Bredy have both been successful in securing funding for their respective Projects while Curtin University’s Professor Ottmar Lipp has secured funding for two separate Projects. The University of Queensland’s Associate Professor Paul Dux and Professor Jason Mattingley have also been successful in securing funding for their Project which aims to provide definitive evidence on the efficacy of cognitive training and brain stimulation for enhancing performance.
