Dr Ursula Schwantner is an educational researcher interested in the role of feedback for learning, particularly in the digital learning environment. In 2013 Ursula completed her doctoral studies at the University of Salzburg in Austria, where she investigated differentiation in instruction in primary education. Ursula has 12 years experience in international large scale assessments such as PISA, PIRLS and TIMSS. She commenced her role as Research Fellow at the Australian Council for Educational Research in the Assessment and Psychometric Research Division in 2014. In addition to the research in the transdisciplinary field of education, cognitive psychology and neuroscience, she is also involved in ACER’s Centre for Global Educational Monitoring, where she focuses on activities related to the review of learning assessments.
