Flinders University
Florence is a post-doctoral research associate at the Flinders Centre for Science Education in the 21st Century. Florence completed her PhD at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2011. Before joining Science 21, she worked as a research associate at the Centre for Neuroscience in Education at the University of Cambridge. Her PhD and post-doctoral work have focused mainly on numerical cognition. She has been particularly interested in using a multidisciplinary approach, combining developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience and education.
Her current research focuses on complex problem solving and creativity in education, investigating the cognitive processes engaged in particular solving problem situations and in creative thinking.
