Speech to Text – SEE it as you SAY it!
The Visible Classroom
Supporting teaching and learning
The Science of Learning Centre would like to invite you to attend the first of its free seminar series.
Over the past three years, the Melbourne Graduate School of Education in collaboration with Ai Media have been developing a system utilising real time speech to text, automated teaching analytics and manual in depth coding in order to support teacher reflection and practice. The system is currently being piloted in both Australia and the United Kingdom, with an aim of making teaching and learning visible whilst facilitating increased student engagement in the learning process.
Join Associate Professor Janet Clinton with guest presenters Professor John Hattie and Tony Abrahams (ai Media) for a lively seminar exploring the applications of Real time Captioning in Australia and overseas.
In addition to your attendance, we invite your invaluable input into this exciting and innovative research project.
Please RSVP by April 2nd to: Dee Al-Nawab at hadeel.al@unimelb.edu.au. For more information about this project, please see the attached flyer.
