Professor Tianzi Jiang is a neuroscientist with research interests in neuroimaging and the Brainnetome. In 1994 Professor Jiang was awarded a PhD in Computational Mathematics from Zhejiang University. In order to understand how the brain works, it is necessary to integrate the multi-level network features obtained with various functional and anatomical brain imaging technologies on different scales. Professor Jiang developed the new concept of “Brainnetome” to represent such integration framework. Professor Jiang holds a joint appointment with The University of Queensland’s Centre for Advanced Imaging and Queensland Brain Institute and the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Institute of Automation.
