Dr Lars Marstaller is a cognitive neuroscientist with research interests in language, learning, and memory as well as multimodal and multivariate neuroimaging methods and their application to clinical populations. In his research Lars uses functional neuroimaging and computational modeling to investigate the different roles of contexts in learning, specifically the role of the hippocampus in fear conditioning in healthy populations and patients with mesial temporal lobe damage. Lars is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Imaging.
