Dr. Jeff Bednark is a cognitive neuroscientist with research interests in voluntary movement and the sense of agency, particularly with respect to motor learning. In 2012, Jeff completed his PhD at the University of Otago where he used EEG to investigate changes in brain activity associated with the learning of new motor skills and how this brain activity is related to our sense of control over our actions. Jeff is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Brain Institute in the Cunnington Brain and Action lab. His most recent work involves using multivariate fMRI analysis to investigate the cognitive processes that mediate voluntary action selection.
